There is a daily exchange rate that changes every day. Go to https://www.exchange rates.org/Rate/usd/ugx (This is the app that H4WI uses to calculate the conversion from shillings to dollars & vice versa.) Example: If today’s exchange rate is 3656 for each U.S. dollar, and your sponsored woman makes a profit of 200,000 shillings, divide the 200,000 by the exchange rate ($54). If you want to send a gift of $50, take 50 times today’s exchange rate (3656) to calculate how many Uganda shillings that equals (182,800 shillings).
